Wanting to add a little sparkle to your portraits, but unsure how in Lightroom? You don’t have to edit in Photoshop to add some pop to those eyes; everything you need is there in Lightroom!
If you are like me, perhaps you aren’t working in your dream studio yet. Perhaps you’re working in a smaller space that only fits a 53 inch roll of paper. This leaves you with a lot of editing for parent shots. Do not fear. Do not be overwhelmed. It’s a 5 minute fix to extend that paper and I’m going to show you how!
Each time we launch our editing courses, we get one question, over and over. Do you offer anything for Elements? Whenever we have to reply “no, but we hear that all the time and just might put a course together in the future!”, we feel defeated. We want to provide you with the tools you need to be a confidant photographer! Since we’re gearing up to launch our courses, and while we still haven’t put together a course, we figured an in depth look at Elements, and a list of some great tutorials, would be the next best thing!
Time is one of our most precious commodities. Once a moment passes, it’s gone forever. You aren’t the first person to be busy. Most people go through life feeling stressed out, and doing absolutely nothing about it. Some even wear being busy like a badge of honor, rattling off their lengthy to do lists as though life is a competition and whoever spreads themselves the thinnest without having a brain aneurysm wins.
It doesn’t have to be this way! All you have to do is quit doing things you don’t enjoy. It’s not as hard as you might think; you’re about to get a lesson in letting go (no there isn’t a Frozen meme in this post, there’s a video of a puppy singing Let it Go.)!
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being a world renowned expert), how would you rate your Photoshop skills? Truth: I’d rate myself at around a solid 4. Yep, I’m no Photoshop pro. I am completely self taught, so I would say my skills are fairly impressive for having zero actual training on the program, and I can do what I need to do for my images, but when it comes to that fancy stuff, the next level shiznat, yeah, don’t email me about it.
